Levels of socio-economic reality
In order not to confuse the levels of the studied reality and the categories reflecting it during the analysis, it is desirable to conditionally mark up the entire socio-economic and historical array of reality into several more or less clearly distinguished levels. In this article, six levels are used, which allow us to give the most complete argumentation of the system approach in relation to value relations.
Socio-economic reality resists any attempts to put it in the Procrustean bed of theoretical schemes. Bearing this in mind, the marking of levels should be carried out in accordance with the quantitative and temporal scales of those parts or elements of the human community that approximately correspond to the phenomena of the value-value series under consideration. And yet, even taking into account the blurring of the boundaries of these six levels, the main feature of ranking here are emergent (that is, new, not reducible to the properties of other levels) properties that manifest themselves in them when the scale of processes changes.
0 — universal, or global, or philosophical level (it is called "zero" because it reflects not only social relations, but also the relations of another class — the relationship to nature);
1 — international, or formational (on the "historical" basis of ranking) level;
2 — public, or state, or national, or political economic level;
3 — class, or regional, or departmental, or national (in multinational states), or economic level;
4 — group (in a narrow sense), or collective, or cooperative, or corporate, or economic level;
5 — individual, or personal, or specific, or consumer, or everyday level.
The last term in each list roughly corresponds to the generalized names of scientific disciplines that comprehend the reality of the corresponding levels. For brevity, the above subordination of scientific disciplines will be called "systematics".
Such a "systematics" differs from the traditional approach in that it is not the value categories that are analyzed in the process of their ascent from the abstract to the concrete, when the fascination with the logic of analysis often leads to the loss of the object of research, but the multi-scale processes that actually take place in society and are reflected in the hierarchical system of categories.
